We have to give our maximum in Baskonia14.12.2009

Union Olimpija held a press conference before leaving for Spain where they will face Caja Laboral Baskonia on Wednesday night. Coach Jure Zdovc and player Dušan Djordjević were present at the press conference where they made the following statements:

Jure Zdovc, trener Uniona Olimpije: "We are going to Baskonia where is always very difficult to play. Our first goal is to play good basketball for whole game like we are supposed to play. This is my only request that I'll ask my players to do. We have to give our maximum, we have to fight, run and play like we are supposed to. Our chances for qualifying to the Top16 of Euroleague are just a theory, that's why we have to focus on fixing that bad impression we left in previous games of Euroleague."

Dušan Djordjević, igralec Uniona Olimpije: "Caja Laboral is a great team but we showed here in Ljubljana that we can play with them. Of course they play better at home than away but it is  time that we also play a good game in Euroleague and maybe surprise them at the end. We have to be focused for all 40 minutes."
