Union Olimpija wants to win in Greece07.12.2009
Union Olimpija will play against Maroussi in Euroleague on Wednesday night. The Greek team won the first game in Tivoli Arena and this is why the coaching staff and players of Union Olimpija want a payback. Head Coach Jure Zdovc and player Nemanja Aleksandrov made statements before the game on press conference.Jure Zdovc, head coach of Union Olimpija: "There is no philosophy left. If we want to keep our goal, which is Top16 of Euroleague, alive we have to win in Greece. I hope we will play as supporters expect us to play. Aggressive defense through whole forty minutes. We can't allow ourselves to drop the level of our game in some quarter. My players are healthy and I hope it will be like this untill the game."
Nemanja Aleksandrov, player of Union Olimpija: "We are going to Greece for the win because we still hope to qualify for the Top16 of Euroleague. We played bad on our first game against them and we allowed them to win in our home arena. It is still happening to us that we simply drop the level of our game and we have to fix that if we want to win in Euroleague."
