Union Olimpija starts physical preparations16.08.2009

Union Olimpija started their preparations for next season a week ago in Tivoli arena. Today they are leaving for Rogla resort for physical preparations which will be supervised by assistant coach Zoran Martič (head coach Jure Zdovc is with Slovenian NT) and fitness coaches Jadranko Nikolić and Rok Bavdek. The team will stay in Rogla resort untill 27th of August. Serbian wing player Nemanja Aleksandrov joined Union Olimpija for preparations and if he successfully passes the medical examinations and fitness preparations the club will sign professional contract with him. Union Olimpija's national team players such as Vladimir Golubović, Pawel Kikowski, Edin Bavčić and Jaka Klobučar will join the team later on when they finish with their national team duties. Vlado Ilievski will join the team as soon as he finishes rehabilitation of his injury.
