Vlado Ilievski (188cm, 1980) started his basketball career in Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia where he played for Nemetali from Strumica. At the age of 16 he joined St. Thomas Aquinasa Highschool from Connecticut, USA. He studied and played basketball there only a year, then he returned to Europe where he signed with Partizan Belgrade. He stayed in Serbia for three seasons before moving to Turkey to Antalyaspor Antbirlik seeking for more playing time. Ilievski went from Turkey to Slovenia where he joined Union Olimpija where he played two magnificent seasons. Next step in his career was when he was signed by basketball powerhouse Barcelona where he played for two seasons before moving to Italy and playing there for top clubs such as Virtus Roma, Virtus Bologna and Montepaschi Siena. In 2008 he joined back Union Olimpija and signed two years contract with the club. During the 2008/2009 season he joined TAU Ceramica for second part of season as a loaned player.

Vlado Ilievski is experienced playmaker who is an important part of FYROM national team for many years.
